Obtaining a Danish Passport

Denmark has introduced biometric passports from 1 January 2012. This means that the Danish Consulates in Sweden cannot accept applications for new passports or renewal of passports after this date. The Danish Consulates can, however, still issue emergency passports and extend the validity of existing passports. It is also possible for the Consulates to take passport applications for children under 12 years.

The Embassy is open for passport applications:

Mon., Tue., Wed. 9.00 am - 12.00 pm & Thu.: 1.00pm - 4.00pm.
