The Embassy of Denmark in Stockholm is looking for a part-time (22 hours) Finance & Administrative Officer on an open-ended local contract.
The position
- Main focus is on accounting and finance and your tasks will i.a. include the following:
- Managing payroll, social security contributions, and pensions.
- Performing back-up functions for accounting, including invoicing, bookkeeping of payments/reimbursements and assisting colleagues with daily financial transactions.
- Ensuring financial controlling and adherence to internal and external regulations. Handling VAT returns to the Swedish Tax Agency
- Acting as a super user for the archiving system.
- Other ad hoc assignments.
The ideal candidate
- Has an educational background in administration and has experience from a similar position.
- Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Previous experience with Navision and the Spiris payroll system is a merit.
- Has the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
- Is analytical, solution-oriented and proactive, with a strong focus on service and compliance.
- Possesses excellent prioritization skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
- Is structured, responsible, and resilient in a professional environment.
- Has a strong aptitude for numbers and is skilled at expressing themselves clearly in writing.
- Is willing to work extra hours occasionally when needed.

Employment conditions
- Part-time employment on an open-ended local contract based on Swedish labour law and the minimum standards of the Danish Foreign Service.
- 22 hours work week, including 30 min. lunch, based on a flexible hours schedule.
- Entitlement to 2.08 days of paid holiday per month (25 days per year).
- A salary which reflects the candidate’s level of qualifications and functions.
